Richard Frederick Jesse Dixon, an Old Blue who attended Christ’s Hospital from 1941-1948, died on November 21, 2024, in McKinney, Texas, USA. Richard was born in Exmouth, Devonshire in the United Kingdom on May 8, 1932. April 5th 2025 – Christ’s Hospital Transatlantic Exchange Dinner
Sponsored by Friends of Christ’s Hospital, Friends of Christ’s Hospital Transatlantic Schools Exchange Dinner took place on 5th April at the Mount Vernon Club in Baltimore Maryland. The dinner welcomed two Christ’s Hospital students who attend schools in Baltimore for a month, while living with an American host family. Founder’s Day Dinner October 19th 2024
The 2024 Founder’s Day Dinner was held on October 19 at the beautiful Manchester Hotel in downtown Lexington, KY. The dinner was hosted by FCH Board Member Nik Feldman (MaA 09-10). The annual Transatlantic Exchange dinner was hosted in April by FCH Board President Sally O’Brien (5s 70-77) at the Mount Vernon Club in Baltimore. John Laurence (Jack) Doyle, an Old Blue who donated generously to Christ’s Hospital and co-founded Friends of Christ’s Hospital in the USA, has died in Cupertino, California. Jack was born in Devon, England in 1931 and attended CH from 1940 to 1948, first in Prep B and then in Middleton A.
